Paths of Lutheran Brotherhood.

Delegation Holy Trinity of North Carolina made its 2011 Mission Trip to Costa Rica, with the aim of sharing experiences of faith in the communities of the Costa Rican Lutheran Church.

This Congregation of North Carolina traveled to our country in order to share both; local community life and to participate in a project work at the Manu Center Lodge located in Guápiles. This journey also included a touristic experience at the Volcano Arenal in San Carlos.

During its visit to Communities of Faith, Holy trinity left a path of brotherhood, solidarity and peace in every person they met. This little story is dedicated to these brothers’ ands sisters who made possible this exchange and wanted to share with all of you a brief video documentation about their work at Manu Center, where they painted chairs, the sign and some of the sport space.

This mission trip coincided with an important event in the economic life of the Costa Rican Lutheran Church, such as promoting of Manu as a sustainable activity and by improving the infrastructure to offer a better customer service.

As you can see in the video above, this visit was a fresh breeze where the joy and encouragement made it possible to finish with a hard work of painting.

Holy Trinity also made visits to various projects such as Soccer for Life, Open House in Alajuelita, Revive Recycling Center and visits to communities like, La Carpio, San Martín, where they left behind unforgettable paths of hope, impregnated in a beautiful summer afternoons, which strengthened the bonds of fellowship.

In Acts 2, 44 - 46 we read a passage that characterizes these mission trips:

“Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common. And sold their possessions and goods and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of hearth”
